5 Apps to help with your meditation

Updated: Jun 22, 2018

Now that we know the positive benefits meditation has on our physical and mental health and wellbeing, let's look at some apps available to assist with your practice.

Below are 5 apps we've downloaded and tested, to help you with your meditation:

1) Let's Meditate

by Heal me team, A collection of guided meditations you can download and listen to completely free. You can track your progress and also set a reminder to let you know it's time to meditate.

2) Headspace

by Headspace Inc, requires signing up, through the setup stage, the app asks a series of questions about you and chooses you starting time, automatically sets a reminder, and offers you meditations based on your answers. However, only some sessions are offered free.

3) Binaural

by Russell Eric Dobda, Allows you to make your own binaural beats and isochronic tones. You can listen as long as you wish or set the timer. The app also provides premade binaural/isochronic beats, so you don't have to worry if you can't do your own. Really good for Chakra meditation.

4) Meditation Music

by Relaxio, A collection of meditation sounds to help you stay focused. You can play with the volume of each sound in a piece, e.g lowering the volume of birds and increase the volume of the ocean. Very simple, yet powerful app.

5) Chakra Meditation

by Panagola, As the name suggests, this app focuses on Chakra meditation. Activating, Balancing, and Awakening the chakras with binaural solfeggio frequency/tones. In the app settings you can set delays, interval bell, choose an endnote sound, change the background etc.....

Now that we know the benefits and we've downloaded some apps to help, Lets move onto how to meditate.
