The Body is made up of about 60% water and the Brain about 90% water, so it makes perfect sense to make sure your drinking plenty. Sadly the majority of us don't drink enough water, we instead opt for flavoursome beverages instead (which are filled with sugar, giving us an energy burst followed by a slump).
Water doesn't have to be boring, you can add a slice or squeeze a few drops of lemon or lime, a slice of cucumber or orange, or even a sprig of mint if you like.
The amount of water you should consume in a day is debatable as we are all different, we have different levels of activity in our lives, and we are all different shapes and sizes. Listen to your body on this one, if your thirsty, it's time for a drink.
